Thank you this is excellent. I’ve never successfully worked with batik before, either. You can’t mix Kona with batik, the fabrics won’t iron together correctly. I found that out. Then my batik/batik ironed funky, too. Anyway, I’ll take a break, review these videos and get back at it tomorrow.

It definitely looked not so great after the wash but it doesn’t look too bad now. Luckily it was some fabric I bought just for practice, and not something I care about. It was good to learn that lesson now though before the fabric I care more about comes this weekend.

Just tried a second time making my brother a quilt and points didn’t line up. Again. Threw it out. Back to cutting.. so disappointing.
