I can't think of an attorney general ever showing this much open contempt for Congress before. Not only would most of them think this kind of conduct was beneath them, they'd have known that the Judiciary Committee chair, whatever the party, would never stand for clownish antics like this.
Show PostRaskin: "I want the whole country to look at this. This is the attorney general of the US whose job is law enforcement. We've never had a witness who has misunderstood our rules and been unable to conform his or her conduct to our rules before. Excuse me."
Show Post@raskin.house.gov is a national treasure. That is all.
Show PostBondi: He didn't even know Chase Mulligan was. He is a defendant in your own district who preyed on girls. Raskin: Well, you know what? If he were part of the Epstein investigation, you wouldn’t do anything about it.
Show PostI’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.
