One of the reasons I'm against genAI in games is because I saw the process on RE7 of multiple people trying to pull the game into a better direction and fighting to keep it there. If the art director and EP could've had everything they envisioned out the gate, it would have been a terrible game.

most of these guys aren’t doing this to make something they or others actually want to play—even as a get rich quick scheme. it’s all for the purpose of posting a video to social media and receiving a dopamine hit from being told how cutting edge they are by fellow sycophants
