I'm amazed he found affordable property. Or is he out on the outskirts? Orangevale/Rocklin/Folsom all have plenty of right wing pockets (which you can usually identify by finding that one house with the huge TRUMP flag and an oversized truck covered in militia stickers.)

I can’t for the life of me imagine what conservative communal values one must crave for in spirit, with enough force, as to uproot one’s whole life elsewhere. … love for guns? Hatred for immigrants? “Self sufficiency”? We move to find community, acceptance, love… What are they looking for?

We are getting more progressive here lol (AZ). And my company is based out of Sacremento. But can confirm. A bunch of MAGAts left, set up little enclaves here, and then hate that all the population centers are liberal. Go to the sticks, plenty of fascists out there.
