Photo taken on February 22, 2020, in the headwaters of Stringbean Creek, Trinity County, Northern California of a gnarled tree stump sitting defiantly on its perch where it once stood tall. From a distance, it had the appearance of someone just sitting on the rocks. #nature #photography

Image taken with my digital microscope of what looked like a solid crystal, but again (who knew!) when I looked closer, I could see small, agglomerated crystals. I am amazed with our unseen world as it teaches me to look closer at anything before, I make any conclusions. #macro #crystals #crystal
