Glad to see the American Pipit at Cliffford hill this morning before the rain came. Another super find by Tyler. #Northantsbirds

Tense few days and a very tense hour waiting for the American Pipit at Clifford Hill. Got pretty decent views of a cracking bird and life✔️ 7 miles from home. Thanks to Tyler for finding it, a solid gold ⭐️ to you young man. #northantsbirds #ukbirdin

More than happy with last night’s 22/43 in Marbury, as there were no moths at bedtime. Highlights: Olive-tree Pearl Palpita vitealis, 4 Merveille du Jours (remarkably 55th for the year!) 4 Y-l & 4 R-l Quakers, 3 Mottled Umbers, Large Wainscot, Brick, 4 Feathered Thorns, 2 Figure of 8’s #teammoth

That's a great find anywhere, but inland is even better!

Exciting times at Clifford hill GP when I discovered the first American passerine for Northants, American Buff-bellied Pipit, as something about this pipit looked strange. Probably my best bird find ever. Many happy birders today. Jack snipe was in the same area. #northantsbirds #ukbirding #PWC2026
