I’m catching up with votes from last week. On Thursday I voted against the government’s omnibus red tape Bill 56 because it weakens protections for clean drinking water, further weakens protections for endangered species, and removes speed cameras, which evidence shows save people’s lives. 3/3

I also voted in favour of Bill 49 to improve safety on Northern highways. People in Northern Ontario have spent years pushing successive governments to address real safety concerns on their highways. Now is the time to deliver. 2/3
