Sometimes I wonder what happened to cars I used to own, like ex-girlfriends. So I look them up on the Gov.UK MOT history checker to see how they're doing. It's nice when they're still going with low mileage and few advisories. It's sad when they've been scrapped.

I was allowed chemo today, hooray! But it was borderline so I am utterly exhausted & sore, & so grateful to the lovely nurses, pharmacists, my oncologist & to medical science for keeping me going. Thankfully, I have Il Lombardia and Dendermonster CX to entertain me this weekend. Cyclocross is BACK!

Yet more blood tests in the morning before I'm allowed treatment tomorrow. Harrumph. One thing worse than having chemo is not being allowed to have chemo... so watching All Creatures instead of Traitors as I need cosiness and comfortable.

I spent far too much time and money in my late twenties and early thirties making sure I could accommodate guests before realising I really don't like having people in my house
