9 March 1939 | A French Jewish girl, Suzanne Driay, was born in Paris. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 2 June 1944 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy. She was among the 627 people killed in a gas chamber immediately after selection.

9 March 1900 | Jewish woman, Donna Hasson (nee Calma) was born in Constantinople (today Istanbul in Turkey). She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on 2 September 1943. She did not survive.

9 March 1917 | A Czech, Bohumil Kymr, was born. A waiter. In #Auschwitz from 29 April 1942. No. 33933 He perished in the camp on 12 August 1942.

12 January 1894 | A Dutch Jew, Levi van Thijn, was born in Alkmaar. In August 1943 he was deported to #Auschwitz together with his wife Leentje and their son Marcus. None of them survived.
