Maybe a bit of a hot take but IMHO physical media is actually not a solution for game preservation. Discs degrade. So does Flash storage (Switch game cards). IMHO a *complete* solution to game preservation would be to allow the user to make their own unlimited digital backups.

So a trainer (PC game cheats) I use has decided to charge a premium for the use of cheats. You have 2 hours a day free. This is despite having adds in the trainer, locking features like a controllable app and recording video behind the Pro version for a while. So uninstalled.
