like don't get me wrong, there IS a "logic," but it's very warped. look anything outside of the binary image, you're some flavor of trans and therefore Bad. i really don't think TMA/TME helps tackle or talk about transmisogyny at all, in my experience

transmisogyny affects everyone, much like misogyny affects everyone. bigots genuinely don't care what flavor of gender or trans one is, because as long as it's wrong, it's free game. a pal irl has been mistaken for a trans woman despite being a trans man. the flaw is attributing logic to bigots

imo, TMA/TME (transmisogyny affected/exhempt) language is another forced binary. i have been targeted with transmisogyny despite being transmasc, with bigots saying to me "you will never be a woman." it also doesn't account for nonbinary and intersex people, who also get mistaken for trans women
