@ladysophie.bsky.socialThe Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door includes its own fictional language that is a cipher for English. Amusingly, the misspelled "Game Cuve" graffiti from the original version is translated into the new language... but still reads "Game Cuve" when deciphered.
Show PostAlso boring is the Zombie Camels, but in this case it seems like a missed-opportunity. I have to clarify, that the orange one nearer to me in the image is a NORMAL camel, and the one farther back is the zombie. I don't know what they could've done instead, but SOMETHING would've been great.
Show PostThe Mario Mash-up Pack updated approximately this week to include the Mounts of Mayhem drop. The big addition here is the Nautilus. It definitely fits the Mario style, but I can't seem to find anything that it's a specific reference to.
Show PostNetherite in the pack is styled as blue coins, so the new Netherite Horse Armor is styled after a P-Switch which is fitting. If I'm honest, I've never totally understood the significance of the P-prefix in Mario (P-switch, P-Wing, P-Balloon) but whatever; it's very "Mario".
