Today is the 2-year anniversary of my mother’s suicide. Last year I got shit-housed drunk to forget the pain. Well, not today. Gonna raw dog all these emotions and just power through. I’m never going back to drinking. Miss you, Mom. So much I want to tell you. 😢

@mrjamesob.bsky.social thank you for the surprise mention during your music section this afternoon! I too benefited from the free musical instrument initiative, and without that and my wonderful music teachers, I'd never have ended up in this career. It's a vital & tragically underfunded thing.
