important to note the clown shoes do appear on your character model, and also they're categorized as a weapon so when you have them equipped you kick demons to death with the clown shoes

in bloodstained a villager solemnly asks you to retrieve mementos she can bury with her neighbors slain by demons. one such memento is a really good sword dropped by a specific enemy, and in exchange she gives you a pair of clown shoes that squeaks with every step. this is the essence of video games
