I think that feeling could be choice paralysis, since we have so many cheap games available to us, we don't get as hyped or drawn in when starting a new game? Whereas something like Switch 2 - a brand new console, with a flagship Nintendo game on release, that's sure to draw you in hopefully 🙏

Anyone else find they sometimes lack motivation to press on with long, story-driven games? I find I hesitate to continue Yakuza 6 / Dragon Quest 11, but I'll happily jump back onto DMC5 for a mission or two? It's like my brain is less intimidated by a couple levels, compared to a longer journey🤔 🎮
