I’ve had an active security clearance for most of my adult life, doesn’t mean I was always in a position that required its use on a daily basis. Being clearance eligible and/or in the system isn’t the smoking gun you’re viewing it as.

The initial email provided is an UNCLASS email, unclassified, a glorified work email. Every job I’ve had in the private sector has had my email generated prior to my start date with the company. Any classified access is not granted until after beginning the role requiring it. Has he begun that role?
