I did before Christmas. Thought I had some free tickets for a pub I use. They used a mirror website. Thankfully it only cost me 99p "admin charge". I quickly realised it was a scam and cancelled my card. It's very easy to fall for some of these.

As an adoptive Geordie (40 years in the north east) I still don't attempt to use the local dialect words much, with the exception of tret, which is so much better than treated.

I feel like every once in a while I'll hear someone in the west of Scotland use the word "jamp" instead of "jumped", and the thing is I immediately understand exactly what they mean. i.e. "I jamp up the wee wall"

I’m also here for glode or glid instead of glided, and strove instead of strived. We’ve lost many of our strong verbs and these days simply tack on an ‘-ed’ in the past tense (texted? Why not ‘toxt’?). US English retains more of them: there is poetry in ‘dove’, as opposed to ‘dived’.
