One phenomenon I still can’t explain is seeing the same living person twice at the same time. Like two different timelines converged at that moment. IE: Once I was resting in bed with my husband and I also saw, felt him sitting at the foot of the bed watching TV for several seconds before vanishing.

The Philippines is writ large with voodoo, spiritual warfare. There is an order that fights them and I’ve become acquainted with a few who serve in it. Once one of them failed to seal back a portal properly and what happened was harrowing. Something followed them back and it got bloody.

Each city/region has its own spiritual or energy profile. New York is the darkest - lots of sad souls that are stuck. Manila is the strangest, filled with fantastical elementals - many are dark/vengeful. Costa da Morte is similar but lighter, benevolent (despite of the name), the most powerful.
