Personal news time: my time at the FDA is coming to an end. Chemistry reviewers are shielded from a lot, but as my boss put it, this year was awful. (She's retiring after 30 years at FDA, so she's seen a lot.) And it's pretty clear that things are going to get much worse before they get better.
