@exeterucu.bsky.social proposed during the "consultation process" that senior management making more than 130k reduce their pay. The VC's response was these people are mobile and will leave and we need it for talent. Lack of talent has been obvious throughout the process, so if they leave--savings!!

No compulsory redundancies is good news, but it means that management was successful in scaring enough people to leave. And that has serious implications, outlined in this thread. Solidarity
