Added something to chimerax-trimmings that I have wanted for ages! Added old Chimera-style model controls, so that one can freeze or activate specific models and freely rotate/translate them with respect to one another. Implemented as modelmotion in latest version. github.com/olibclarke/c...

1/5 Cryo-EM gives high-resolution RNA structures, but only when high Mg²⁺ freezes out their motion. At physiological conditions, RNAs are dynamic and 3D reconstruction fails. Can we still learn their folding equilibria? New preprint: yes, straight from the raw particle images👇
