Don't think any single artist captures so much of what I love about comics, from the 'hip' underground, to skillful drawing, to the Kirby vibe, as much as Paul Pope. Somehow it's ALL there. Except maybe Barks/Schulz/Kelly cartooning but you can't go Every direction simultaneously. Pope nearly does.
