Gotta love it when a story just clicks 1000% better, after the pitch got sent in! Just a random thought that sparked a reframing of everything. Luckily I haven’t heard back yet, so I’m sending a revised one in with a mea culpa that my subconscious took a minute to catch up with my ambitions.
