Our last day in Norfolk was one of sun & much wind blown sand at Winterton Dunes. After some searching it was a delight to re-find the small party of Shorelarks that were reported the previous afternoon, oscillating between beach & dunes...probably my birds of the trip I think... #UKBirding #birds

Later, this lovely Snow Bunting was gleaning sustenance from tiny seeds from the back of the beach at Winterton. We sat down in the lee of the low dunes & waited for it to work it's way past within 10-12' of us. Just sublime, what a privilege...broad smiles all round! #birds #UKBirding

Dungeness had the South Easterlies and the rain today Small groups of White-fronted Geese on Point and a party of five Bean Geese heading out to sea early Three Ring Ouzels in Moat and a Woodcock torpedoed across the shingle 304 Little Gulls flew west in 1.5 hrs late this afternoon #KentBirding
