It’s such a shame that @metoffice.gov.uk WOW is closing down in December, after 15 years. I’ve been there from the beginning, and it’s a great site, connecting amateur meteorologists and enthusiasts with professionals. Crossposted with @openvibe.social

Wunderground is talking about 5cm between now and Friday, which, over a kilometre would equal 50 million litres, sounds like a lot... but it's still only 1% of the capacity of Dovestones Res. Sorry for unleashing my inner geek. What about the wind though?
