The sad thing is that I watched the whole thing w/my MAGA 82yo very cognizant dad I’m visiting,& he believed everything DJT said.He only watches FOX. He looks at me strange when I tell him things Trump has done he’s never heard of.He’s kept in the dark by the MAGAdome! Imagine how many others are!

Usually when he reads from the Teleprompter he looks laconic & sounds monotone. I think he was trying to use his nerves & anger to bring more energy to the speech, which in a weird way, he kind of did. Instead of sounding listless & bored, he sounded like a cokehead spewing boasts & grievances.

That’s what he does when he reads the teleprompter. He is not able to read aloud and understand the meaning at the same time (functionally illiterate); so he goes fast. And he does that self soothing movement with his shoulders, like a nervous child forced to read in front of the class.
