was rereading my abandoned attempt at a superhero romance novel where one half of the couple is a newly-rich tech ceo and had the realization that i'd started writing it so long ago that it predates the AI boom. it became a period piece within the span of its own creation.

I let the colors run and flow more chaotically over areas, letting watercolor do what it does best and build up its own textures. Balancing fine control and deliberate looseness. It's far from perfect, but I'm very happy with the method and the finished piece.
