We stopped at a bar in Pearlington, MS this summer, where the eye of Katrina hit, totally destroying the town, which had already been bought and depopulated by the feds for NASA in 1961. The bar was great.. beer only, but they had some great free food.

Losing Father Red was one of the many heartbreaks from the storm. It’s my understanding too that he refused to leave his church and the little trailer next to it that was his home.
