My point was meant for those that want to do a "minimal change" to their usual practices. If I could have my way, I'd publish everything with TMLR :P (no big neuro equivalents though, perhaps NBDT?)

More open journals like TMLR. IMO the peer review process is much better anyway.

TMLR is really amazing. But in this specific circumstance, some people will also see it as the entry point of OpenReview in the journal universe. For example, JMLR is also great and open, but doesn't use OpenReview.

1. I second the sentiment that TMLR is amazing. If I had a choice, I’d only review for TMLR. 2. Maybe it’s time for conferences to only present papers at the level equivalent to what is now “nominated for a spotlight/oral”.
