Show PostI'm currently in the midst of last edits for my soft sci-fi survival drama. And I'm writing a dark fantasy that got away from me a little (140k and counting 🙈) What are you working on?
Show PostGotta get that dopamine hit, you know 😅 and of course I'd offer the same in response. Then we can go into more details later as time in life permits. Mostly it's all about structure, characters, pacing etc. I don't care that much about line level stuff unless it detracts from reading.
Show PostOh, cool! Most of that is in the post you're replying to, but I guess to me the most important is to be committed to each other and interactive. I've had a few false starts with folks who don't work as fast as I do. I'd like to share a chapter and get initial thoughts within a couple days.

An agent (past rep, not my current agent) once wrote in the margins of my manuscript at a fade-to-black scene, "Sex?" No other notes on the scene A friend's comment: "Maybe he just happened to be thinking about sex while he was reading" 🤣
