I get asked, from time to time, why radicals don't trust liberals and are averse to working with them. The fact said liberals routinely do a 180 on things like "trans people have rights" come election time — and most of them will go along with it without serious question — is a major reason.

there's an entire community of adult hot wheels people and they're completely unhinged. i engage with that every now and then because there's a tabletop wargame i like (Gaslands) that essentially expects hot wheels as minis, and they make getting new minis for that a frightening experience
