Well, the degenerative disc disorder in my back has devolved to the point that it’s steroid injections for the rest of my life and/or spinal surgery. Today is full of woe and misery.

Please avoid generalising and dehumanising labels such as "The French". Instead, use wording such as "People experiencing Frenchness".

Had my final Eucharist at St Paul’s Walla Walla today - and it’s impossible to describe how much I love and how much I’ll miss this incredible group of disciples. Thank you for everything - I will be a better bishop, and am a better person, for following God’s call here.
