It used to be people in the industry became the studio heads. Even the business boys, they started as producers. Now it's Business Degrees and a shocking inability to make art. Decisions are made by spreadsheet. Risk is non-existent. And the products are mediocre. Big Tech is killing Hollywood.

The problem with Hollywood (well, one of many, but the one that makes me the most irritated) is that every single studio head is a boring boy that went to business school. Not film school. Didn't even do theatre in high school. This didn't used to be the case. Billy Wilder ran Paramount.
