I literally got to where I can tell him all the ways in which I've observed both his and mom's neurodiverse habits, how they never got the help they deserved, and had to get by white knuckling all this shit because "that's life." I told him to talk to me if he needs advice. It was so cathartic.

Went to ask my dad for a tool I needed, found him blaring music while doing chores cause my mom's not home. I casually asked if it helps him focus (knowing the answer) and it sparked a conversation leading to him admitting he might have ADHD, and has struggled all his life. What a breakthrough. 💝
