2/4 Maximilian received the prize by IAU Division A (Fundamental Astronomy) "for creating the largest and highest precision astrometric catalogue for any star cluster to date". Before joining ESO, he obtained his PhD from Heidelberg University, working at @mpi-astro.bsky.social . 🔭
