it's freaky how bugs can suss out your intentions. all summer i've been ignoring the grasshoppers (by whomst we are overrun this year). they would just sit and chill and watch me. yesterday i started swatting them and now they jump before i even see them. fascinating

I played in a band with a bassist who used to do the iced-tea in the Jack Daniels bottle trick. Would swig it all gig long and look like a very hard man. Afterwards, he'd go home and cuddle his cat Saltine until he fell asleep.
