I think there are two different conversations going on around this. One states: "It's good that culture forces corporations to toe this line." The other states: "Corporations are fundamentally untrust-worthy, though." Both are true, but neither is addressing the same point.
Show PostI guess my biggest disagreement with the whole "rainbow capitalism" thing is that corporations can and will jettison queer people as an intended customer-base the very nano-second that it appears profitable to do so, so I don't see the benefit in them pretending to an allyship they won't act upon.
