There is no bottom for the Republican Party. It is a force for evil I’ve watched for my entire adult life (I’m almost 49). This is why I can’t stand calls for bipartisanship or demonstrations of the old boys and girls club. They’re fucking monsters who ruin the very fabric of society.

Beyond what we have all been screaming about rape culture and the domination of women and children being a feature and not a bug, I also think everyone should be paying very close attention to how the lives and biographies of people who have faced extreme adversity are increasingly picked apart.

It seems for at least some segment of the global right part of the project of imagining their own grievance has gone beyond denying that inequality exists and has rapidly become denying that the lives of people who challenge their frameworks already don’t exist. It’s dangerous.
