It was a pleasure to welcome Dr. Valerio Caprero as our first colloquium speaker of the season! In a fascinating talk, he compared how humans and LLMs acquire knowledge and showed how excessive trust in AI can lead us to offload reasoning to algorithms without critically evaluating their outputs.

Very happy to share our new work. Do our eye movements reveal how we structure information in working memory? We found that eye movements adapt to memory demands, shifting from sequential sampling during encoding to replay-like revisitation during maintenance. dx.plos.org/10.1371/jour...
