I might lose one of my cats today and I am trying so hard to keep my shit together, but a 40% chance of him making it through this, and then having it almost definitely happen later is not a good prognosis.

There's definitely other stuff that I could do but either because of the state of the world or just feeling like I need to sit in this moment I'm not going to push myself on. I know I can do shit scared and that's pretty good.

Year isn't done but that's honestly the big stuff on the checklist. I've learned I have a better memory and a better pain tolerance than I thought I had, I'm tougher than I look, and scary shit is mostly only scary because I don't know exactly what it's going to be like

I started this year with a plan to do a bunch of shit that really scared me. So far: ✅ Ears pierced (twice!) ✅ Tattoo started (finishing it in a couple weeks) ✅ Second cat (I was scared of how much extra work he'd be but turns out not much) ✅ Driving lessons re-started (remembered a lot)
