Mila is a rescue dog that I’ve had for over a year now. I’m her third owner. She clearly went through abuse and neglect in her original home. She was also attacked at the shelter. Today - for the very first time - she got into play postures with another dog. They’ve built up that trust. So proud.🥹

I think he has congestive heart failure and that’s why the swollen ankles and shortness of breath when he’s speaking (I kind of the voice of experience with this). I said the reason for the repeated cognitive testing was due to advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
