Bienvenidas las #Plazas de investigación, los contratos #ATRAE, #RyC, etc. Pero si no se inyecta más dinero en el sistema, eso solo sirve para que se rechacen más proyectos. Y los que se conceden, se quedan con una financiación estancada desde hace 5 años, que no cubre siquiera la inflación. 😠

When searching for papers today, I learned that Environmental Health Perspectives, one of the best journals on public health, has disappeared due to lack of NIH funding. It is shocking to see a good journal die (diamond OA, no fees, excellent editors) while bad ones seem to multiply by the hour.
