I haven't watched the Premier League or Match of the Day for five years. If Man City are allowed to get off with this then I will care even less. A beautiful game ... one which I cared about deeply as a kid when my plucky Oxford United rose to win the Milk Cup ... wrecked by money.

Spent an amazing day up on the Ridgeway above Uffington today. Politically, this landscape shaped by neolithic famers, Bronze Age people, Celts and Anglo-Saxons who loved it and knew it and made it their own makes a mockery of those who seek to claim immigration is wrong. Immigration is human.
