Woohoo! I early voted at the Emory polling place this afternoon! Then felt sad as I looked across the street at the CDC while driving away. 🙁 May this vote help to start turning things around there (and everywhere). 🤞🏻 Anyway. I chose that same sticker. 🍑😸🗳️

She was thoughtful, devoted to science and truth, and an extraordinary reporter to work with. Her integrity, kindness, & willingness to listen to public health workers in the thick of it all made her one of a kind. The gap she leaves behind is enormous. Helen you’ll be deeply missed. Rest easy 💔
