From an employment perspective, where I was involved professionally from the 80s until retirement in 2019, the Manchester regeneration led by Bernstein and Leese was immeasurably beneficial to some of the most disadvantaged people and areas in the UK

In December 2015, the council and ADUG agreed a ten-year right of first refusal covering council land in Ancoats, New Islington, Holt Town and the Lower Medlock Valley. The document was obtained by The Mill last year and has become a symbol of the city’s supposed genuflection to Abu Dhabi.
