Turns out empirically derived phenotypes (data-driven symptom sets) nested within traditional mental disorders can help reduce diagnostic heterogeneity! We learned so much cool and interesting stuff in this study. I could talk (/post) about it all day, but here’s a few highlights (🧵)

There’s fairly good evidence that antidepressants are overprescribed in the US and less effective than advertised, and obviously these fascists are doing this because of eugenics; but forcing millions of people to quit SSRIs cold-turkey would (imho) trigger an almost unfathomable wave of suicides

First beer in 9+ months. Delivered a 9lb5oz baby boy this morning who arrived on his exact due date and is now a birthday twin with Sir David Attenborough (on his 100th!!). Body is so sore and tired, but our hearts are very full. 🥰🍻
