Toch beetje blij dat mijn oppositiewerk geloond heeft. Vlaanderen schrapt nu toch de 32,8 miljoen subsidies aan ExxonMobil en TotalEnergies. Logisch. Ik ben hier al maanden op aan het hameren. Veel goesting om verder op zoek te gaan naar compleet absurde uitgaven in de begroting. 😏💪

Jonge generatie: ‘Kijk naar ons. Wij durven dit taboe doorbreken!’ Oudere generaties: ‘Yep. Was dat 20 en 40 en 60 jaar geleden ook al niet doorbroken?’ Of ook hoe jonge sturm-und-drang soms wel de reflectie en bezadigdheid van de levenservaring mist. En zo hoort het ook.

Meta having to fork out $18bn to US states: is that America being protectionist against its own firm, or is it only considered protectionism when Europeans enforce their laws? Good question to ask the White House.
