Fair, and once arknights picks up in the first couple chapters, the gameplay gets REALLY hard, its the hardest tower defense games I've ever played. Hard to recommend. I liked endfield when it came out but im having a hard time picking it back up

Ah, Amphoreus was incredible and planarcadia is definitely a step down aesthetically for me too. Luckily though some stuff introduced in 4.1 has me really invested now. I dont want to spoil it for you, but one of my favorite paths unexpectedly got tied in heavily. There's also a fun culty vibe

If you like story in games, the original Arknights is incredible. Chapter 1-2 are pretty slow, I think i skipped story until I saw cool stuff in chapter 4, then chapter 5 killed me and had a lot of references to the first chapters that made me wish I paid attention more. Lots of important deaths.
