sorry society has progressed too quickly and there is no longer a consensus answer to "what is appropriate behavior here" for most situations. that's why we're all constantly recording each other and trying to figure out if the person on video should be in trouble and stuff

Whales and elephants have language. Whales even have dialects that can be so foreign to whales of the same species but different pods, that they don’t understand each other. We may not perceive it casually but scientists have documented language systems in many other species.
