I have selected a character for this story that will require me to write a fair bit of dialog (not one of my strengths) and while I definitely have some regret about that it is clearly the correct choice so I guess this is an opportunity to stretch myself? #writing

Great #writing - including great avant-garde writing - is being written and published every day, but #readers who want it must go looking for it - it's almost never in bookstores and rarely in libraries - the NYT wouldn't know great writing if it walked up and kissed it on the lips
